We have keys!

I was able to pick up the keys on the way home yesterday. A slow walk-through of the unit revealed a lot of holes in the walls that need to be filled. This place had a lot of network cables in every room and a high-capacity Internet tap. Maybe we should be setting up gaming servers? Lots of 20-amp circuits and only 1 lighting breaker. There’s a lot of work and a lot we want to do with the place, but it’s unrealistic to get it done prior to opening. We’ll be focusing on the bare minimum to make the space at least presentable. We’ll start off with inexpensive furniture and improve things as we go.

We also met with a contractor and a telecommunications guy at the place that we’ll be calling The Business. The washer and dryer will need to go into the kitchen as there isn’t a better choice.
